iOS 18.0.1: Key Security Fixes and Bug Improvements for Your iPhone

Apple has just released iOS 18.0.1, a critical update that addresses key security vulnerabilities and resolves several bugs affecting iPhone users.

1. Touchscreen Fixes: iPhone 16 and 16 Pro models were experiencing unresponsiveness in certain conditions. This issue has now been resolved.

2. Camera Enhancements: The update fixes freezing issues when recording 4K videos in macro mode with HDR off on the iPhone 16 Pro.

3. Messages App Stability: The Messages app was crashing when users replied with a shared Apple Watch face, but this issue has been patched.

4. Security Fixes: iOS 18.0.1 improves security by addressing vulnerabilities, including one in Messages that could allow audio recording before the microphone indicator appeared, and another in the Passwords app that caused VoiceOver to read passwords aloud.
